Responsibilities:

As a Junior Research Fellow, you will be expected to:

  • Conduct independent research in areas related to the project, focusing on the application of Artificial Intelligence techniques.
  • Develop and implement algorithms and models for the analysis of health and financial data related to medicinal plants.
  • Collaborate with the project team to understand the scientific and traditional knowledge aspects of medicinal plants.
  • Contribute to the development of products or tools based on the research findings.
  • Analyze and interpret research data, and prepare reports and presentations.
  • Assist in the preparation of research publications in peer-reviewed journals and conferences.
  • Participate in project meetings and discussions.
  • Contribute to other activities as required by the Principal Investigator.

Essential Qualifications:

Candidates must possess ONE of the following qualifications with a minimum of 60% marks:

  • B.Tech/B.E./ M.Sc / MCA or equivalent degree in Computer Science (CS), Computer Science and Engineering (CSE), Electronics and Communication Engineering (ECE), Artificial Intelligence (AI), Data Science, or related disciplines with a valid GATE/NET/DST Inspire qualification.
  • M.Tech/M.E. or equivalent degree in Computer Science and Engineering (CSE), Electronics and Communication Engineering (ECE), Electrical Engineering (EE), Data Science and Artificial Intelligence (DSAI), or related areas.

Desirable Skills and Experience:

While not mandatory, the following skills and experience will be considered advantageous:

  1. Programming Skills: Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, R, Java, or C++.
  2. AI/ML Expertise: Strong understanding and experience in machine learning algorithms, deep learning frameworks (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch), and natural language processing (NLP).
  3. Data Analysis: Experience in data preprocessing, cleaning, analysis, and visualization techniques.
  4. Database Management: Familiarity with database systems (SQL or NoSQL).
  5. Research Experience: Prior research experience in relevant areas, as evidenced by publications or projects.
  6. Interdisciplinary Skills: Ability to work effectively in an interdisciplinary team and interact with experts from diverse fields.

Fellowship and Duration:
